Q: How long does it take to process an order?
A: Processing time can vary. We use a manual verification process to ensure that each order is correct, to avoid ordering mistakes and other common issues. Once the order is verified, the order usually ships by the next business day -- and orders placed early in the day are frequently processed the same-day, usually within an hour or two. If you have a specific need, please let us know!
Q: Why do you use a manual verification process?
A: With a variety of platforms, bit levels, user count increases, and more, we've found that ordering PSQL licenses can sometimes be tricky, and Actian does not make this any easier as they do NOT allow returns on delivered product license keys. We feel that it is much better to get every order as correct as possible BEFORE we ship it. This may slow down our process, but it saves us (and you) time and effort in the long run.
Q: I really don't want to send you my card data for the validation. Are there any other options?
A: Yes. If you know for sure that your order is accurate, you can go directly to our Secure Payment Gateway and process your own payment using a fully electronic process. When you click on the link, you will see a page where you can enter your Invoice or Order Number and Amount, and then provide CC payment details right there. This goes directly to our payment processor and bypasses all of our internal checks and balances. Because of this, if you process a payment or order the incorrect license, we will not be able to catch your mistake, and you may not be eligible for a refund once the batch has settled.
Q: What shipping options are available?
A: Most licenses are delivered electronically (via EMail), with no shipping costs. For organizations within the US who want a physical CDROM shipped, we can do this at a cost of $10 for USPS Priority Mail. For multiple CD's we sometimes shift to UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. Next-Day delivery is available in some cases (note that our manual process may mean that it will take 1-3 days for it to reach you) for $40, so we strongly recommend using the electronic delivery (or both electronic AND ground) instead, to keep your costs low.
