ListStat provides the functionality of "BUTIL -STAT", but with MANY more features, options, and settings to play with, including wildcard support, comma-delimited output support, filtered output, and much more. We use ListStat to automate things like database monitoring, file conversions, and more -- directly from command line scripts. ListStat is available standalone, or in the PDFRT toolkit package.
